VOLCANIC HOTSPRING

Mt Tavurvur is the current active volcanoe in Rabaul, East New Britain Province.

It is surrounded by impressive Hot Springs sights, locals use it to cook their food. Magnificent Geothermal features of Mt Tavurvur occurs in certain periods, red hot lava spill and flow and Ashfall. Magma heats groundwater, forming steam and hot water that rise through cracks, creating geysers, fumaroles, hot springs, and mud pits.
